D-E Commercial Eyeleter (pat. pend.)

 

Our single feed D-E Commercial Eyeleter is an excellent choice for short runs. Our standard D-E Commercial Eyeleter uses 3/16" D-Series Bates Eyelets in varying lengths to fasten work as thick as 70 sheets of paper or about 1/2 inch. The D-E Commercial Eyeleter machine features adjustable limits and an automatic handle return. Custom eyelet die sets from 1/16-inch to 5/16-inch available upon request. Any size beyond the 5/16-inch eyelet is generally considered a grommet. The D-E Commercial Eyeleter has a 3-1/8 inch throat depth.

Occasionally the question comes up about what is the difference between an eyelet and a grommet.

We mention paper thickness as a guide and are referring to standard weight (20 lb.) printer paper stock. 

Available Eyelets 

             Series D-11 Eyelets are used for thickness up to 50 to 70 sheets of paper
                                                                                            are $ 7.30 per 100
             Series D-9 Eyelets are used for thickness up to 40 to 60 sheets of paper
                                                                                            are $ 7.30 per 100
             Series D-3 Bates eyelets are used for thickness up to 1 to 7 sheets of paper.

              Series D-2 Bates eyelets are used for thickness up to 5 to 15 sheets of paper.
                                                                                            are $ 39.00 per 1,000
              Series D-1 Bates eyelets are used for thickness up to 10 to 25 sheets of paper.

              Series D-0 eyelets are used for thickness up to 20 to 35 sheets of paper.
                                                                                            are $ 39.00 per 1,000
