D-X Commercial Extractor (pat. pend.)

Thank you for considering our D-X Eyelet extracting tool. It is a fine example of workmanship with the ability to remove, with limited damage to a document pack, an almost impossible to remove attachment device know as an eyelet without destroying the documents. A stapled document pack is easily disassembled and reassembled because of the nature of the limited security of a staple.

When using the D-X keep in mind that the best way to remove an inserted eyelet is in the opposite direction of insertion. If you installed an eyelet with the document pack facing up, then you want to remove the eyelet with the document pack facing down.

Generally, document packs with two, three, or four sheets are the most difficult to obtain a perfectly clean extraction because of the limited support that the paper gives during the extracting process. However, when a new eyelet is inserted, any minimal document fracturing during removal of the old eyelet will be covered by the new eyelet.
