The "Desk Drive" gadget demonstrates how a 90 degree drive is accomplished using pins instead of a miter gear. At first glance, it seems that this device will not work. The "Desk Drive" is made in our machine shop and is run-in at 3,000 RPM on one of our lathes. This drive works best at speed but you can see how it works by turning the knob. If you are like us and like gadgets, you will be captivated by this device.
